What did you buy yourself today - PART 1

Been looking for a 9mm that's smaller than my Ruger p85. Haven't been in a rush, but working in a gun store, I get a daily parade of both our stock and trade ins. Some interested me, some, not so much.

Didn't really need it, but it was meant to be. Smith and Wesson SD9 VE, in box, 2 16 round mags, like new condition. Fits the bill nicely, and the asking price was extremely low, IMO.

Get the Apex trigger kit for it. My father has one in 40 that I put the Apex trigger in and it made a big difference IMHO.

Well cruzans held out longer than I did to start 2022. Bought these online on the 2nd but just received them today.

First is a Henry Big Boy Classic in .44 Mag for me, and the
second is Henry Mini Bolt Youth 22. Been wanting the Henry for a while, and finding the youth model for my son made it a slam dunk.

Lol. I almost bought the same Henry but in 45-70 last Thursday but wanted to hold out for a side gate model. Nice rifle for sure - congrats!
My Spanish friend did say I have a few inbound that should hit my gunshop soon - looking forward to sharing those treasures

Get the Apex trigger kit for it. My father has one in 40 that I put the Apex trigger in and it made a big difference IMHO.

Thanks for the heads up...the trigger is a bit springy to me...but works well as is. I'll update it as time provides.
