Yup, me too. They were actually loose and once I tightened, they are better but may go back to original grips

I like it a lot, but that grip fitment to the frame would bug the shit out of me.
Fit and finish everywhere else is perfect, but the grip fitment is not pleasing to the eye and immediately draws my attention away from the rest of the piece.

Getting a new to me motorcycle project today!

Picked up a new to me motorcycle without the motor . Years ago I used to race, and I*m tired of being fat & old, so I*m going to hit the rollers this winter. Hopefully in the spring I*ll just be old!

I picked up this PTR91 last night with a Choate folding stock and a JLD narrow fore grip. I had refinished some nice HK furniture a few years ago and tucked it away for just such an occasion. This morning my vision came together:
