I'll have to post pics later, but I picked up my first big bore upper (450 bushmaster) off a member here. Met at LGS to do the deal and ended up picking up a Stevens favorite for a decent price too.

Y'mean, in "before", the pen is retracted, and in "after", it is extended?

B&T GHM9. Three weeks later, didn*t want to post it without the NFA paperwork clearing and in its final form.

1950-51 serial number model 94. Estimate 85% condition. I saw it when it first came into the shop, had a lot of surface rust on it. Bore looks ok, couple spots in the last 6” of the barrel (could be lead/copper chunks fouled up). Couple spots of cold blue touch up on the receiver. Action is tight, almost a but gummy/sticky. One moderate scuff on the wood i could clean up easily. And theres a social security number lightly engraved on the receiver.

Rust cleaned up fantastic. i’ll do a detailed strip and scrub, plug the bore and soak it with foaming Extreme CLP and hoppes elite.

Walked out with a wad of cash in hand and this in trade on the LR308. Always wanted one, first gun i hunted with was grandpas early model 94. Great PA brush rifle for deer (Amish Tommygun, Streaker? ). Wish i knew what year his was. Had full buckhorn sights, round 24” barrel and factory saddle rings. 5 digit serial i think?

Update: collectors value is gone according to my smith. Its been reblued and the engraving on the side drop condition a lot. Blue book value came in at about $275 . Will see how it shoots and go from there. 20” barrel

Hi, this is your gunshop, got a deal for you on one of those Spanish guns you like
Beautiful condition Star 31 P stainless/starvel finish in 40 cal. Don't see many of these out there and especially not in this condition. Even the magazine is stainless/starvel. A "wonder 9" and heavy enough to do damage once you're out of ammo !

    I picked this up today.

Didn't have a .22lr pistol, figured I needed one. Got it from a local gun shop and while I was checking out, I see at the other side of the counter a couple handling a firearm. Some little piece of shit, but I watched the guy drop the mag and put it back in and kept on finger fucking it. I quietly told the guy I was with that they were handling a firearm. He quickly went over, and sternly told them to stop, and then took it and stuck it in a cubby behind the counter. He then calmly explained to them what they were doing wrong. He called another person to finish my sale and then quickly turned around and gave me a big thanks for letting him know.

I think he handled the situation properly, he immediately stopped the problem, secured the firearm, and then educated them on their mistake, and it appears he then completed a sale. He didn't flip out, scream at them and then ban them from the store. Kudos to our local gun shops for educating and being reasonable human beings.
