I think what you have is called the model 22 Thunder Ranch. The model 1950 didn't have a barrel under lug.

Actually it's not, would have been nice. The Thunder Ranch editions have a TRR serial number, my SN starts DCR. It was produced in the same time frame as it has the stupid "lock". Left side of the barrel is marked 45 CAL MODEL 1950.

Finally got it in:

It doesn't want to attach the 3rd photo so you'll just have to deal with the two. It's a PVS14 with a Gen 3 WP XLSH tube. Got it from Night Vision Devices which apparently is located just north of Allentown. Stats look pretty good at least on paper. Going to try it out tonight in the backyard.

I already have the helmet setup. I can post pics in another thread if anyone cares to see it.

Well, I learned something. Thanks. From that ad it sounds like a fantastic wheel gun. 2 1/2 lb. trigger pull. That won't tire your trigger finger.
