Be careful fancy and custom knives can get just as pricey as a firearms habit. This is a photo thread though, so we need pics of some blade purchases.

Nothing special yet. Some fixed blades, some auto's, some otf's but nothing crazy. In the process now of having my first custom knife built by a local bladesmith.
The bug is getting stronger - lol.

I don't know, the rounds seat pretty darn tight. I would have no hesitation using for defensive reload. Not sure if yours were older or my standards just aren't as high - lol. Thanks!

The best speed loader ever made is the S.L. Variant. Each round is held under its own inidividual spring pressure. Nothing flops around, and the release so smooth that it makes reloads fast and easy. Unfortunately, I don't think they're being made in Germany anymore, and the one place that imported them hasn't had any for several years. Only place I've seen them is ebay, and they're selling for $100+ each. I was lucky enough to score a few for my GP100 and SP101 many moons ago.

The spring that goes around the outside stretches and the rounds get loose.

Did you buy it? Or, is it a thank you gift for putting their kids through college?
