A ton of parts coming in the mail to post soon...but over the weekend I picked up some new mags to test from Rural King. Smoked was $17.99 and I bought for looks...the other MFT one I'm curious about, they had a ton of them for $9.99 and I want to see how they perform.
Also just bought myself a

My Rural King MFT worked fine. Still think I'd spend the extra $3 for a pmag though.

Picked this up from Alderfer's today. A salty looking Type-53 carbine made in 1960 at Factory 296. No cleaning rod and the bore will need a lot of scrubbing. But the numbers all match and there are no import marks.

I haven't been around much lately. I've been focused on other toys. I can quit my search, the deposit is in and the bike is in transit to my dealer. A 2022 Triumph Bobber. This is a photo of its twin sitting in a Knoxville dealers showroom.
