awwww, I was hoping it was going to be a main frame that needed to be housed in a gymnasium.

Picked up this M1911A1, a '41 Colt frame with a Remington-Rand slide. Arsenal rebuilt for the Korean War. Story I was given was that a Korean War vet brought it into his local Sheriff's office saying the nursing home won't let him keep it. Talks to the deputy behind the desk who contacts my boss who tells me about it and how much the deputy thinks the vet should get for it. A deal is struck, and this M1911A1 made its way to a local FFL and I picked it up during my lunch yesterday.

I would have moved to a different nursing home.

Already have one but was in the right place at the right time to buy this little beauty from a guy today. Well below what it's worth and original grips in great shape. 6.35 / 25 cal. Love my Spanish bling guns - lol.

I was joking with my boss that I was gonna get it nickel plated, have Novak sights installed along with a Wilson flat mainspring housing and extended three hole target trigger. He said "Don't even joke about that." lol
