I have Colt-Richards 1860 Type II Transition Model on order at Cimarron. Got mine in .44 Colt. It will only ever see real BP , Triple 7 or Trail Boss handloads.

I load up my .38 Special loads, so its no big deal. 158 LSWC or LRFN over a few grains of Trail Boss. I do know I won't be loading it up with the few rounds of Winchester Ranger +P stuff that I have lying around.

Sportsmans Warehouse was across the street so I went looking for powder.

I did find that box of Berger VLD 190 gr hunting bullets so bought those.

Then, Shit. I bought the stainless Tikka T3x Lite too AND ordered a Mountain Tactical scope rail.

Picked up my CMP 1911 today - bottom pistol. Top one is an un molested, or lightly molested Colt that I already had
The CMP is a Remington Rand frame, GI replacement slide and Colt Barrel. It's a beauty for sure just wish I received a RR or Ithaca or Colt slide vs GI replacement - just me I guess
