Picked up this AR/22LR conversion kit. Supposedly just a drop in bolt replacement and your AR can shoot .22LR. Hopefully it makes it a good way to get the AR's out to the range without blowing thru $1.00/rd ammo.

S&W Model 39-2, picked up this morning. Ate up what little budget I had allotted for Morgantown, but whatever. I've been aching for one of these for a while now.

BFR in 30-30. Will be wearing a 2x6 scope shortly. I now have BFR triplets. A 45/70, 450 Marlin, and now the 30-30. Sorry. Its to big to post horizontally. It just wouldn't fit on your computer screen.

I just bought one of those too. Got good referrals from friends that have them...anxious to try it.

I have one of these, bought years ago. Very reliable! Actually works better than my dedicated .22LR upper. Just keep in mind your optics/sights set for 5.56 are completely useless for this.

For those CMMG conversions, JoeBob has Black Dog Machine mags on sale.
The more desirable stainless steel feed lip version - $16.95
    Solid black or translucent Smoke

EDIT: Sorry - it says "This item is currently on order".
Not sure if they do backorders

The nylon feed lip version sells for $15 on the BDM website but those are sold out.
The stainless steel feed lip version sells for $20 on the BDM website.
(choosing the correct model requires looking at the "translation" further down the product description)

I have one in 45-70, if it wasn't so big and heavy it would be uncontrollable.

Interesting. Perhaps going a bit off topic in this thread....how far off are the sights? I asked both friends that recommended these about that very thing. They said that at an indoor range...it's OK.

I was thinking of using this kit in a AR pistol I recently finished...
