HA, your the one who had to wait to get it. He told me that and offered it to me for the same price as you, but like a greedy bastard I tried to squeeze a few more pennies out and didnt hear from him again LOL. Kicking myself about it now. $325 sounds like a total steal when you see what its listed for everywhere else.

It’s mounted on the end of the lathe and spins on internal bearings, to keep the rotating part I’m working on steady. MT3 stands for Morse Taper #3, it’s the size and slope of the taper to fit in the end socket without threads or a key way, and still holds fast. The low runout means the bearings aren’t loose. Oh yes, as noted above, someone might mistake it for a buttplug if they were into those things

I picked up 3 cases of 9mm for normal pricing $212 each, with tax, I had sitting at Bass Pro. Here*s one of them before it gets locked away.

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Thats a good score. Ive been trying to get some ammo for a few days now, and its tough. Even started bidding on lots on gunbroker, but keep getting out bid. Been trying to keep it around 30ish cents a round for 9mm, but people are going wild and paying 50, 60, even 70 cents a round. $600 for 1000 rounds lol. I see people on Arms List selling whatever ammo they have sitting around trying to get a buck. Herters and Blazer listed for $40 a box, and they make sure to say its FIRM lol.
Whole worlds gone crazy for 9mm. I should have kept my .40

Sounds like we're back to the point that buying a police trade Glock G22 and a 40-9 conversion barrel + .40S&W ammo may be as viable as buying a case of 9mm ammo.

I also picked up 300 rds of 5,45 at a decent price. Balanced the cost vs the quantity I was allowed to buy.

Re: What did you buy yourself today (Photo thread)...
Ive only had one .40, it was my first handgun, a used Smith and Wesson SD40VE, and I hated it. Couldnt shoot it worth a damn. I ended up buying a CZ P-07 Duty in 9mm and loved it, so the .40 sat in the safe til I eventually sold it to fun my first AR build.
But now Im thinking, maybe its time to give a .40 another shot lol
