Picked up this girl in a trade. 1943 Smith Corona with a matching 1943 six groove SC barrel. Haven't gauged it, but the bore is in perfect condition.

    Great little machines.
Takes a minute to get set and torch tip just right, but you can move through the brass fairy quickly.

Ever since my eldest laid claim to my old P226, I've been keeping an eye out for a good deal on a replacement.
Finally found this right here from another board member, and couldn't pass it up.
I was just looking for a shooter, and this was in the right price range for something used, but the seller said he bought it "around the early 90s" and never shot it.
I only half-believed that until I saw it.

"Made in W.Germany" in 1989 (JK code), still factory fresh with all case candy including test target.
I am thrilled to have it...but now I can't decide if I should actually shoot the thing!

Holy crap, nice score. How much?

Of course Sig purists consider those the best P series generation ever, and they probably are.

    Shit I'm jealous...

Five bills. Would have been happy to pay that for a good shooter grade German. This was a pleasant shock.
