    Default Helwan/Brigadier magazine source

Does anyone know where to find magazines for a Maadi Helwan, the Egyptian copy of a Beretta "Brigadier" M1951, other than the promag magazines sold by Midway? Any other Beretta magazines easily adapted? A high capacity magazine would really be nice.

    Triple K still lists them:

    Gun Parts shows used ones:

As for Hi-caps, being a single stack, I doubt any such thing exists.

Numrich's is who I was gonna recommend. I remember when Interarms was still importing them - I've never seen a hi-cap or even extended mag for them, FYI.

Before I'd spend $23 on Promags, I'd wait for a gunshow and scrounge for factory ones or someone with new old stock Triple K's.

Up to you, but even though you may be saving a few bucks on the Promags, if they don't work you will have some pricey paperweights.

Never had a promag that worked.

    Good luck.

Triple K mags are usually even worse than Pro-Mags. If memory serves me correctly, it is a heel catch on the mag, and the few TK mags that I purchased for such a style never functioned correctly due to bad finishing of the body and base. Dave_n
