Default Need a hunting vest for my Dog (Great Dane)

I need to get a hunting vest for my Great Dane. Something to protect him from the thickets/thorns while he crashes through the stuff while I'm small game hunting. He's not a hunting dog by any means, but loves running around in the woods. Danes don't have much fur, so the thorns tear him up pretty good. I'm probably going to have to go custom because of his size (165 lb. dog, girth around chest is 43"). I'm thinking something made out of ballistic nylon.

Suggestions or comments or suggestions on where to get this made?

Remington makes what I felt was a good vest. Its fully adjustable, highly vis orange, easy to wash and clean. Have used them for my labs for 15 years, love em.

LL Bean has a few of them in a recent hunting catalog I just read through. I've never used one but I've also never been disappointed by anything from LL Bean.

Their large vest is for 61-85 lbs. dogs. My dog is 165 lbs. I'm going to have to find a 'Big & Tall' Dog store. Maybe I can convince my wife to make a vest for him. Is ballistic nylon the right material?

Maybe cabelas? Or get an old 2nd hand neoprene wet suit and trim it to fit him?
