My Saiga 12 Conversion

Had the gun apart today so I figured Id post pics of my polishing and re-profiling job. Today I also polished the feed ramp and barrel hood.

WOW.

Can I get a sound bite's worth of information on how you did it? What tools, compounds etc?

Does it cycle smoother?

Followed by a lighter Flitz metel polish which really brought out the deepth. Its smoother than glass and I can see my reflection in it like its a mirror.
