    Default 11-87 to 1100??

Will the stock from a 1100 work on a 11-87??
I want to take my 11-87 and go tactical with it. But all the pistol grip stocks list for 1100 . Mine is the special purpous model, so should look good. Also what about the forearms and the tube extensions??

I'm pretty sure the furniture is interchangeable. Midway has pistol grip stocks for the 1187...........

I think the only relative difference between the models is the gas system and on some 1187's you have to drill out the dimples in the stock tube to add an extension.

I'm sure a shotty expert wil lshow up soon.....BUCKMARK?

The stocks are interchangable. Just make sure you use the recoil plate on the gun if the directions call for it. Some do...some don't. The recoil plate is between the stock and the receiver on your gun.

The older 1100 forends have a detent ball in the wood/syn that lock up with the outer ring on the forend cap.

The newer 1100's and 1187's have a green plastic cap lock on the inside of the magazine tube and on the inside of the forend cap.

Magazine extensions will interchange as will bolt handles, side saddles and other goodies. Email me with questions on any given part. buckmark75@comcast.net.

1187 stock set will go on an older 1100 if you use the aftermarket lock nut under the forend cap. A $5.00 part.

1100 tactical stock will fit a 1187. Forend would need the old style 1100 cap unless you use the mag extension that will come with a lock washer and barrel clamp.

No problem putting 1100 set on a 1187 with mag extension.

Buckmark, thank you for the info.

I am looking to put a extension on, and a pistol grip stock. I do not like the adjustable AR types. They just look too goofy on a shotgun.
