    Default Trust Sample I used

Thought I'd put it out there for anyone having trouble getting the CLEO to sign off.

Remember - this was drafted for MD, which does not require a Trust to have any property at its inception. PA may be different - I know many others had to assign a US One dollar Bill or pocket knife to insure a valid Trust.

Before I catch 6 kinds of Hell for this - It worked for me, 2 cans and a SBR and it has worked for dozens of others. How many - I have no idea.

I am not a lawyer, make no claims or warranties. If you decide to use the Trust linked, it constitutes a waiver of liability for claims against me or this web site.

If you are not confident in your ability to comprehend and modify the Trust document to your circumstances, please seek competent legal help.+

I am not a legal research engine, so please understand and follow the laws of your jurisdiction.

(Man I hate all the legaleese )

Worked for me men and AFAIK - ATF's Legal Department Now Reviews Trusts as they have become pretty common place.

Thanks MD Shooter! May have to investigate this stuff... years ago I lost out on a nice subgun as I didn't get my papal audience visit fast enough to satisfy the selling CL3.

Friend - it was so easy, I could hardly believe it myself.

    Started due to non-signing CLEOs

I made this because attys wanted $650

So I made up my own and gave it away

Hard price to beat IF you can modify it to suit your needs and the laws of your state.

Note that it may be modified by Notarized addendum - so if the law changes, or you find a defect - easy enough to fix.

Well if you count the 6 weeks I didn't have to wait for MSP to do the same thing ATF will do, it was faster. Otherwise, no difference I could tell - but who knows these things with ATF?

How much? Usually money well spent. Avoid CLEO BS - which I hear ATF is about to shelve anyway.

It's a holdover from the olden days where a CLEO knew the character of the locals.

I posted the link some time ago, but here it is again.

Worked for me and countless others.

400 beans for attorney to do it. I have read most people don't have any trouble with the DIY way. I just want the warm and fuzzy in case.

Thanks Maryland Shooter! I used your trust as template and modified it some when I sent in my Form1 (SBR) at the end of May. The ATF is taking their sweet time (Pending as of July 6th), but I'm confident I'll get my stamp. The lady told me up to four more months, so they are definitely a bit backed up...
