I mean, if one is to raise atleast 1 / 4 to 3 / 8 inches. If you do not improve the body as high as possible, while still maintaining proper seating depth. Do this, you should have enough room in the mold itself. As long as an extended run in the first shell, to make sure you do not apply to any curl, and then start using bullets, adjust the seat part of the mold to death.

I got my Dad into reloading and helped him set-up his Lee Pro 1,000. I got him started and in exchange he built me this workbench.

Damn dude, you really got into it. That's good to see.

BTW, not really related to this thread at all, but did I ever tell you that I found 3 M1 Garand clips buried behind the condo? Swear to God, I found them when I was installing the air conditioner unit outside. Never figured out why they were there.

Thanks for getting me started! It really worked out. Got my Dad & me to spend time together after not talking too much for years. Gave us a common hobby, now we shoot & reload together very frequently.

I don't think you ever told me about the Garand clips though. That's very unusual, lol.

I have a Lee 3-hole Turret with dyes for 9mm, .38/.357 and 45acp. Beside it, to the left, is my Dad's Lee Pro 1,000 set up for .380. My bench has mounting holes for up to 4 Lee presses. Once I upgrade my primary press to a Pro 1,000 I will keep my 3-hole turret mounted for special occasions.

The workbench was hand-crafted welded steel. The legs are 2 pieces with the braces in between bolted on separate. Each leg is so heavy I could barely carry it. The assembled bench is so heavy I cannot move it. This thing does not have to be bolted down to be immovable. The shelves are finished plywood. I will soon stain them to match the dresser beside the bench. My Dad did a really good job. He made it for me the next day after he was over my house and saw my pathetic particle wood set-up on my computer desk.

I'm relatively new to reloading, and I can hand-load 44 rounds of .38 in 10 minutes costing me only $5.67 per 50 rounds in materials. Tell me that's not bad-ass.

Thanks again bro. I have 9mm lead on the way from Missouri Bullet Company already. I plan on getting a dye set to reload .223 as well.
