Default Just Picked Up my Sig P239

After much thought and research I pulled the trigger on a used Sig P239 in 9mm .. Got a real nice deal .. 2 .. 8 round mags .. 2 .. 10 round mags .. Set of Hogue Grips .. 2 Holsters .. Looking forward to many days at the range with this firearm .. Been reading nothing but good things .. Going from my Glock 23 to this should be fun .. I'll post after my first go round at the range .. Here is a pic ..

Wow, that's a great deal and a great firearm. I am a real Sig fan. My first (and currently only) handgun is a Sig P232. I really like the P series from what I've experienced. The alloy frames, the de-cocking control, and the ergonomics are perfect for me.

That P239 can very well be my next purchase (when more funds come in). I like the single-stack grips a lot, and the smooth sleek profile.

How does it carry? It seemed a little tall in height from what I remembered at the store, but that was in the context of my P232.

I feel like the P239 would make a great 'all purpose' handgun. Good for carry, and certainly substantial enough for home defense/combat sidearm. What role do you plan on filling with your new Sig?

Remember, Sigs operate better when wet, keep the rails well lubed. I
prefer grease. Have fun and enjoy your 239. Excellent deal BTW.
