An unannounced visit from the President
A highly unlikely scenario but what if you were having a Big Mac at McDonalds and Obama decided to stop his big black re-election tour bus at the McDs for a Big Mac too; and you were OCing/CCing. What does the SS do when and if ever Obama would make an unannounced stop to visit either your place of work or a local restaurant and they see a citizen exercising their 2A? Or this could be Tom Corbett. Would you make a quick exit? Or would you approach either of them while CCing and then brag about it later here

Re: An unannounced visit from the President
If the visit is pre-announced there are more security concerns and they will check out everyone in the area. When Bush (Sr) visited my company and spoke out on the lawn, the Secret Service set up metal detectors and herded us through them on our way out. They checked everyone's company ID as we entered the parking lot that morning. There were snipers on the building roof. He showed up in one of three identical helicopters.
When he just "drops in" unannounced they don't have as much chance (or need, really) to secure things, but I'm sure you'd be spirited away if they saw a gun.

I wouldn't leave. Fortunately for us, that 1,000-foot public official roaming gun-free zone never happened.
There's no such thing as a free lunch.

A McDonald's Big Mac is much more life-threatening than a gun

You wouldn't catch me anywhere near Mc'Donalds.

I avoid McDonalds and Obama equally.

Re: An unannounced visit from the President
So he's the leader of the free world. Whoopee. He's mostly a figure head anyway.
I'd keep munching on my Big Mac. I have nothing to say to him and he has nothing to say to me. If the Secret Service comes over and tries to get me to leave, they're going to have to physically remove me.
Obama is just another person. He's not special and he has no more rights or freedoms than I do.
At least, he's not supposed to.Junior

Re: An unannounced visit from the President
One in a million. A more likely scenario:
You are walking around OC'ing your pistol in public, without a LTCF. You've walked a few miles away from your home. Suddenly a state of emergency is declared. How will you get home legally with your firearm?
