Default Any love for the S&W M&P 40 and 45

I did a search but did not find many comments either favorable or unfavorable. Perhaps my search skills are not up to par.

Pease state why you like or dislike the the M&Ps.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.

    I like M&P.
I have 9 full size, and I absolutely trust my life and my families.
It have never had any sort of hickup since I got it, and I've shot may be 5000+ round though it.
    Its my primary CCW.
Biggest thing about M&P tho is that i have somewhat smaller hand. So the fact I can change grip insert to fit my hand was a big with me.
With lowered axis of bore, its much closer to my hand, there for you have much better recoil control

    And its accurate too.

40 does have little more sharper recoil naturaly, but its equaly accurate(infact, I'm usually little more accurate with my buddy's 40 M&P then my 9mm), and 45 does have slightly gritchier trigger feel, but nothing $50 trigger job can't fix.

If your thinking about buying one, get it. U won't be sorry

i just noticed that you are in mars...

you aren't too terribly far from PMSC (pitcairn monroeville sportsmens club)...the site of our PAFOA west group shoots. the next shoot is tomorrow morning.

check out the thread in the shoots subform...it's called freeze your ass off and shoot or soemthing like that.

as a memer of PAFOA, you are welcome to attend. they are a lot of fun with a lot of great people.

everyone is super cool about letting each other shoot their guns. there will likely be one or more M&Ps there you could try out.

    hope to see you there.

    LRT,

Thank you for the invitation. I am just off of I79 and nowhere near PMCS. Perhaps another time.

I have the MP40 and agree that it's accurate and great to shoot. I also CC everyday with it.

    aw...come on man...

we get people coming all the way from erie....several people come from lawrence county...

just get on 79...go south a little bit...get on 76 east...to route 48 and you are practically there...i bet you can get from mars to PMSC in an hour.

just messin' with ya...but, after you read about a couple of the shoots, you'll prolly decide to come to one...then you'll be hooked and come to most or all of them.

    welcome to the forum!!
