I think I saw that guy somewhat recent on a show, I think, called "Super Human" on the History channel. That's the one that has Stan Lee on it from time to time. Guy still dresses the same as he did in this video from '86.

I'm not gonna bash Bob Munden because he really is the fastest gunslinger I've seen, but I do believe that in some of those demonstration he cheats. How so? In one of the videos of the "2 shots sounding like 1" I swear he holsters the gun cocked, but he "plays" with it so much before holstering I can't be 100% sure. Even if it is cocked he still is super fast with the follow up and is super accurate. Just something I've alway tired to figure out.

I've watched him several times, for several years. He cocks it with the webbing of his thumb as he reaches for it, draws it cocked, then he uses his left hand to fan it for the second shot. It isn't cocked before he grabs for the gun.

I've seen him do 5 shots from his SAA in or around a seconds, on man sized silhouette, with live ammo. Most of his balloon shots are blanks, but thats because of the rules of such shooting in some sanctioned events.

People have tried to prove he's a cheat for decades - ALL have failed.

He's a cocky SOB for sure, full of himself - but you know what, if he can back up his words with action he pretty much has a right to be.

Not only is he a fast shot, he's an accurate one too. He can shoot a snubby 200yds on a iron plate. An aspirin off the head of a nail, with his gun upside down. And quite a few other trick shots.

just think, in a gun fight you wouldn't be able to get the first word out of your mouth let alone your gun out of its holster before he slams a slug into you. and possibly your friend...

I think Munden used to be a frequent guest, if not a regular, on that show "American Shooter" that aired on History??/Discovery?? a while back. He had a small exhibition segment on the show along with a guy that did bow and arrow tricks.

Bob Munden, saw him live several years ago. along with bryan ferguson and a sportsman show. very interesting , but i think he cheat s abit, like maybe using bird shot to shot ballons etc.
