    Default Shoulder rig for Serpa

Just wondering if anyone has used or known anyone who used the Serpa shoulder harness system and what their thoughts were about comfort, stability, etc.?

This may or may not help. I have used SERPAs on a few different platforms and I have used non SERPA chest rigs the same.

I would think the SERPA chest rig would have to be snug fitting with very little movement in the direction of the draw during the draw, otherwise it would not work very smoothly.

PS. Thanks for standing up for everyones rights, it was not an easy thing to do.

I'm assuming this is true of any shoulder harness system? TV/movies make it look so simple. Maybe I shouldn't even pursue this any further. I'm looking for an easier way to conceal on occasion. My Serpa OWB keeps it pretty close to me, but rides fairly low, and I really want to avoid an IWB option. Perhaps the money would be better spent being put towards a pocket gun.

Thanks for standing up for everyones rights!

I picked up a Blackhawk SERPA with the Shoulder Harness platform for my Glock 19, works great under a vest or windbreaker.

When not wearing a jacket, I often use a DeSantis Gunny Sack. It is comfortable and distributes the weight and extra magazines very well.
