Default Colt Delta Elite 10mm or Ruger SR1911?

Oh Man...I hate decisions! I have a chance to buy a Colt Delta Elite 10mm for $600. It's bright stainless and does have a few minor blemishes in the finish but overall...nice! The Ruger, of course, would be NIB for around $600. So, what would you do? I'd love to get both but my wallet says no, no, NO! One or the other is the only option (Unless I hit the Powerball soon!)

You can never go wrong with a 1911 in 10mm, and the blemishes give it character. A Ruger 1911,pfft, anybody can buy one of those, try something different. 10mm's can get addicting, you have been warned!

In the picture it does not look like a bright stainless Colt, maybe it's the picture? Either way I don't think you will find many Colt 10mm for that price, regular or bright stainless.

There will Rugers for that price I bet. If you choose the Ruger, please pm where the Delta is located.

There is only one thing to do buy both they need a good home. Just kidding ,but at 600.00 dollars for the 1omm colt I understand your dilemma. Me ,i would snatch that colt up and save up for the ruger later.

I was going to say compare ammo prices and availability, but went on Palmetto State Armory and they had both 10mm,and .45acp and the price difference was neglible. So I guess you'll just have to flip a coin and decide. The others are right about the Ruger, you can always save up for it,but how often are you likely to find that nice a Colt at that kind of price. Oh by the way where are the under $600.SR1911's if you don't mind me asking?

You're going to kick yourself if you let that Delta slip away at $600. Of course, if you decide not to buy it I just might know someone who would!
