me and a hunting buddy was gonna go for a walk through the woods this comming weekend,( the state park) to see what signs of life we see.......has any one had much luck there, or in past years...hear its a good but tricky spot to hunt

Last year I saw a number of nice deer (Buck and Doe) while small game hunting. That being said, it gets hit very hard all season. I know guys who get deer out of there every year but they have been hunting it for decades and let the other hunters do the work for them.

The deer are there and you might get one. I rarely hunt there for anything other than small game.

yeah im hearing its either hit or miss....oh well still the thrill of the hunt....
