Default The cat's out of the bag...

Or maybe I should say the guns are out of the closet!
Here's the deal my GF who I have been living with for the past 5 years never knew I owned (hand)guns let alone CC Until this past Friday when I had to take her to her lawyer's office in center city Philly. When we left the lawyer's office she made my BUG when she put her hand around my back as we walked down the street and then said "What's this?". At the moment I didn't even realize she touched it as I was more concerned that I thought I could see a flat tire on my truck and quickly grabbed her hand to pull it away from the BUG. (I know bad SA on my part )No flat...Good news! I let her in the passenger side and walked around an got in and before my ass hit the seat she says with a smile on her face "I didn't know you had a gun." I then said "yeah, I've got a few." and I showed her my primary on my hip." She smiled and said why didn't you tell me?" and honestly I didn't have a good answer. Now it was off to the Italian Market for some goodies. On the way home she told me that it turned her on to know that she was with her man in Philly and felt protected knowing I was CC.
It must have REALLY turned her on as she couldn't keep her hands off me for the rest of the weekend! Its such a relief not to have to CC any more I'm considering OC! The downside of all this is now she wants me to take her shooting and my ammo budget just doubled! I can tell that I'm going to have to take her to get her LTCF and her own gun real soon!

So you've been keeping several guns, some loaded, around the house for 5 years and never told her? Unwise. Everyone in the house of a capable age should know how your weapons.s work and how to clear them. But good news she was accepting.g and not a super liberal.

How the hell do you hide it for 5 years? I took my ex shooting within a few months of dating lol (she was from Jersey too ).

I knew someone would turn this around negatively and while I would generally agree with you, there are other circumstances that would make it more unwise for everyone in the house to have access and knowledge of operation. You make it sound like I have them all over the house, in the seat cushions, in the medicine cabinet, the oven, behind the door...With the exception of my carry pistols the others are unloaded and locked away. Thanks for your concern

You should be thankful she wasn't pissed that you kept it from her for 5 years. With that said... SCORE! She's defiitely a keeper, and even better that she'll likely want to get her own LTCF.
