Upper Merion July 24 Encounter?
The search feature is not coming up with anything.... local throw-away newspaper describes a July 24 3 PM incident at Hooters in which a "male with a pistol holstered on his hip" whose "weapons permit had expired" was taken into custody.
Anyone we know?

Hmmm. If he was OC, LTCF would not matter. Does story have more details?
Or maybe this is a part of Philly? Is there an online version of the story?

I would also like to see more details on this. If his license had only expired recently, he may well be within the six-month grace period.

Re: Upper Merion July 24 Encounter?
To carry OC, yes... but if he got there in a vehicle or was observed exiting a vehicle he'd need the license.
I haven't heard anything more... but on the expired license /grace period, I'm wondering about 'provided (he) is otherwise eligible to receive a license..." something still doesn't sound right.
