Default gun shop near the chester lancaster county line

Hello, I'm purchasing a pistol from another member that lives in chester county and decided to meet somewhere at the half way mark, can anyone point us to some gun shops in the eastern part of lancaster county excluding the Sportsman shop, they want $10 for the background check and another $50 for the transfer...ouch!!

The only one I know is the Villiage Arms, and I am pretty sure thay charge the same rate.
If you are willing to go to Roherstown, there is a dealer called Gun Dealer Online.
They will not rake you over the coals for a transfer, AFAIK he still only charges $20 for a transfer.
They have a shop on 741 near 30.

Village Arms in Gap always charges me $30 for t-fers.... I haven't done one there for about 6 months, so I suppose it could have gone up, but I kind of doubt it.

    I've done probably 6 or 8 t-fers there.

    That may be true.
They quoted me a price of $50 when I called and asked them last year.
Either they could have dropped the price because people were not using them, or the person I spoke to on the phone could have been mistaken.
Even if it is $30, I am still pretty sure they charge $10 for a fee on the check itself on top of the transfer fee.

Thanks for the info , I know John and the guys at Gun Dealer Online and it would be great to take more business to them, but their shop would make the deal a bit in the favor for me as the shop is closer to me than the seller.

I will give the other shops you folks have listed a call...village arms charge a flat $35 fee for everything if the firearm hasn't been shipped
