Hornady 6.8mm Rem ammo shortage?

Anyone know why I am having a difficult time finding Hornady's 6.8mm V-max ammo in stock? All of the places that I look at, cheaperthandirt, ableammo, midsouth, midway, all seem to be out of stock. Anyone know where I can buy them for $18/box or less? Man, I should really start reloading.

There is a major ammo shortage in most poular calibers right now. Since 6.8 is not as popular as others they may not run off as many rounds of that so they can try and keep up with demand for other calibers.

I would advise everyone to stock up on ammo now. I'm not talking a few boxes of 20 either. Buy cases. The price is just going to go up more and it will get harder to find!
