Odd Wal-mart OC encounter

So went to Wal-mart for my late night shopping run. Did my usual loop around the store (sporting goods, electronics, food) got my goods and proceeded to the check out when this happened;

Clerk: Would you like your milk in a bag?
Me: Yes
Clerk: My first thought was 'Oh cool a gun, can I see it?' But then I thought I would accidentally shoot one of us.
Me: Ok.....
Clerk: I don't really like guns, but my friend took me shooting recently and had me shoot his 22, I think? It was fun, then he asked me if I wanted to shoot his 44, I said no.
Me: Yeah, there is quite a bit of difference between a 22 and a 44.
Clerk: Yeah, have a good night
Me: You too

Odd little exchange, but overall it was good. She didn't freak out, didn't call the cops, didn't say it was against policy. Odd choice of opening line though...

I think she was new, never saw her before on my late night trips to Wal-mart, maybe next time.

Yeah, that was odd, why would you want your milk in a bag?

Cause those bags are great for picking up after my dog.

1. The cashier at a Wal-Mart spoke to him.
