I will be the first to admit I am not an expert in Gun law, firearms, reloading or casting, I have played around with gun related subjects for a little over 50 years. But hope I am still learning new information.

But on these nameless forms, today I read some posts with legitimate questions, the answers to these questions ranged from juvenile snipping to out right dangerous.

I thought about responding, but decided hitting the delete key was the best option.

Of all the forms I go to most like PAFOA are very informative and interesting even threw the minor disagreements.

In the few years I have been going to forms, I have found two that were pure garbage and both were firearm specific, as anyone that spends much time on forms knows, Anything gun related is controversial.

It just seems odd that on these two forms there would at least be a moderator with the sense to intervene.

Being new to both of these forms I did not post on them, reading the remarks was all I needed, and the wise cracks were not my only reason to delete these forms, some of the information given was very bad boarding on dangerous.

I could not believe some of the mis-information given was not disputed; some of this was load information and was well above max pressures for these firearms.

I also read posts that were pertaining to Federal law that could get someone in serious trouble. They too were undisputed.

Conclusion there are some very good forms on the net but there are also some that new shooters should be very leery of.

BBM, So how does refusing to name names help achieve your warning to the new shooter community that you express at the end of your post ?

I like to believe we never were the worst foum out there, but I can see your point. Sometimes this forum can be equally snippy and disrespectful. Fortunately, enough of our forum members and forum moderators have enough of a head on their shoulders and sufficient lack of insecurities to try and learn from others on the forum, as well as try and teach. That's why I keep coming back to this forum. I can learn here.

Why would you have TWO guns on one FORM?...Then why would you want to delete that two gun form?

There was a thread about the villainy and debauchery that is the core of our forum... But I couldn't find it, so this one will have to do. (It's hilarious, btw.)

HORNADY, you are welcome! That's why I invented both the interwebz and POOFA.

but seriously, it's great mods and experienced contributors that help keep DanP's vision for a clear cut, truthful, and informative hub expert and neophyte alike.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.
