Seems like a source, if the price were in line. Heck, just for the satisfaction of sorting this thread out, I might just drive over there and ask her, myself.

I asked her if they sell it once, she said that they did and gave me a phone number to call. I never got a chance to follow up on it though. I imagine that if it is worth it to her and her family to show up there as much as they do, they must have quite a bit to sell.

I don't think she was too happy with me tonight...

I got to the range just after dark tonight to scrounge for brass, and found quite a haul. I had some brass sitting on a bench while I was digging through a trash can. When she showed up, she went right over to my pile of brass on the bench and started gathering it up. when I told her that that was my pile of brass, she swiped all of the brass off of the bench then kicked some of it into the puddle in front of the firing line.

It wasn't easy, but I kept my cool and just let it go.

However, I do have to wonder if she has/needs a hunting license or range permit. While she isn't "shooting," she is "using" the range for profit...

I think it would be a good question, the next time I run into a WCO

Why not just lay a cloth tarp next to where you shoot so the brass lands on it, then tell her in no unforgiving way that you will not stand her near your tarp.

if brass lands where other brass already is, she can always argue it was not yours..

tell her that the judge said you were supposed to stay at least 100 yards from any females unescorted by men. And thats what the tarp is for.....

If/when you describe this to the local WCO be aware that the range closes before dark. In your description you may be in violation as much as the woman.

I know where she lives, and I know she's been going down there forever. Don't know what their situtation is, but she's never been mean to me. She asks and I tell her sorry, I reload, and she lets me alone. I have seen and heard her, however, get nasty with others. Life really is pretty short to make being a bitch over collecting brass a priority. She needs a reality check. I like the idea of videoing her behavior then calling the calvary. The more often it happens, the less she'll show up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't blantantly taking property that belongs to me is called "stealing"? Those cases were mine when I got there and they're mine when I leave unless I decide otherwise. Not too hard to fathom, right?

Sew a big pocket on the back of your underwear, and put a couple handfuls of ammo in it when you get to the range. When you're loading, and she is looking, bend over/squat a little bit and reach back and get yourself some rounds. Start filling mags. Report her reaction, with pics preferably.

Wow I had forgotten all about this. I haven't been to that range in years.

She was taking my brass that i reload and I called the WCO and reported her but they seem to be aware of the issue. More people need to call and complain.

    Why did you let her?
