Re: Brass Nazi at range off 74
I think a bunch of us should go up and shoot and watch her beg for brass and make a day of it.

Re: Brass Nazi at range off 74
she has been here forever, i do not have any problems with her since our first encounter. i let it be known that the brass coming out of my gun was my property and to leave it alone. i reinforced that concept when i broke out the 50 bmg, she does not wear ear plugs she really backed off then OOOOUCH. kinda made me giggle. just let her know when you get there your brass is yours and she will back off. keep shooting, be safe, red dog

Just talked to the Bunny cop reginal officer, He said he has talk to them and gave them their last warning about this. If they get any more calls or complaints they will be fined. So if anyone was any trouble with them call 814-643-1831 and speak with Kyle. He is a very nice guy, new to the area and we talked for awhile about hunting and the range. I haven't been up in a while so maybe some of us should make a day at the range

Re: Brass Nazi at range off 74
See them there every time I go. Mother daughter combo. I shoot steel 7.62 and .223 so when she ask for my brass I tell her as long as she cleans it up. If Im shooting brass I shoot on the far right to shoot the brass up into the weeds. I don't want it, but she cant have it.

Re: Brass Nazi at range off 74
I have seen her and her daughter there. Every single time I have shot there they have been nothing but polite in asking me whether we were keeping our brass or not. I have zero complaints about them picking up after me since they ask. I have kept my .243 and .270 brass and when I informed her that would be the case she never bothered me or my son at all.
I have lived in Dover since 2001 and while I usually shoot at a private range, I have shot at the range on 74 quite a bit. Based on my experience with her and her daughter, I am surprised that people report having problems."The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

Re: Brass Nazi at range off 74
She gets nasty when other shooters let you have their brass. She damn well better be ok with you wanting to pick up your own brass after shooting. But you know how it is when other shooters are on the line, we get to BSing and then you ask if the guy wants his brass. Most don't, so to a reloader thats like picking up free money on the ground . Then she gives ya the hairy eyeball and it's just annoying.
Reminds me of two geriatrics having a turf war with their metal detectors at the beach. Picking up that brass is income to her family it seems and I guess you have to do what you have to do so I don't get too bent out of shape about it anymore.
