AR Rear Sights

I currently use a Midwest Industries ERS sight, it is a standard rear sight with 2 peep settings. The front sight is the standard gas block one.

This is my first and only AR and I love it but I don't know much about them. I don't use optics at this time.

The current set up runs great and I can hit fine with it. I'll probably run with it until it gives me a problem. That being said I was researching the MI ERS and some people don't think they are very strudy.

I want sturdiness! I'm all about that. I will just go with this until it breaks...but I'd like to have a good, sturdy rear sight on my radar for when I decide to upgrade.

I have Troy Industries folding battle sights on mine and they are pretty tough...

The Troy's are very good. I have one on my M&P, but if the MI isn't giving you any problems, there's no need to replace it, because it probably ain't going to break. Save the money for an Aimpoint or EOTech in the future.
