    Default braverman/mastercast

Just got back from the range, put 100 9mm mastercast reloads I picked up a bravermans through my Ruger SR9, a little smoky but worked flawlessly, paid 9 for fifty rounds with spent brass, good cheap range ammo.

Hmm they must not be marking it up much. That is only a little more than if you trade directly at Mastercast.

Although a nice drive to the country could be better than driving only a handful of blocks away from such a high crime area in Pittsburgh.

Definately not the greatest neighborhood in the world, but I live in the area so by the time you factor gas to go to mastercast direct it would be cheaper to buy new at wally world, which by the way I had winchchester white box jam twice yesterday at the range. Themastercast rounds perfomed well, however it was a littl dirtier during the Rugers evening bath, nothing severe but definately noticable

I frequently visit family and friends near Warren, OH as I used to live there. So i'll swing by on a Saturday morning on my way there so it's not that out of the way if I'm already heading to OH.

To just make the trip out from Pittsburgh would not be cost effective unless you are buying in bulk.

I know this thread is a little old, but i've just started looking at mastercast. I live in new castle, EXACTLY 14 miles away from their operation. So I do believe I will be making the SHORT trip to go see these guys to purchase my .45 range ammo.

Take spent brass with you, or call ahead to make sure they have some no_trade_in boxes to sell you. Great place, nice easy transaction with friendly dogs to pet while they write you up.
