Area reloaders
I have just decided to dive head first into reloading my own ammunition. I am buying most of my supplies online because it's obviously cheaper. There are some things however that I would like to buy locally if I can. Where are the best places in Erie county to get your reloading supplies at?

Re: Area reloaders
To be honest with you it is still better to buy online. Usually reloading components are priced high locally. Some times I do pick up a few things if they are on sale.

Re: Area reloaders
Try and find a local supplier for bullets, the weight adds to the cost freight wise.
I buy most of my supplies from Midway USA http://midwayusa.com/ they have good prices and their service is outstanding. I have never had a problem there that wasn't handles to exceed my expectations; great people.
I buy my brass at http://www.starlinebrass.com/ their brass lasts a long time (lots of reloads) and their prices are good, especially for the quality.
If you cant find a good local bullet supplier, this guy is great https://secure25.securewebsession.co....com/order.htm his bullets are cast with a real nice hard alloy. I will caution you though, if you get him on the phone, he will talk your ear off about guns, bullets and reloading. He's a real nice guy.
Powder and primers require a 20.00 hazardous materials fee so definitely buy that locally.

Re: Area reloaders
Yeah power and primers were exactly what I was looking to buy locally because I'm not ready to make a major bulk order to justify the hazmat fee and shipping

Re: Area reloaders
Well I'm looking to get my first press. I'm torn between getting a Lee Loadmaster or just being done with it and getting a Dillon 550. The loadmaster has been regarded as a good press with fine tuning and the dillon has the NO BS lifetime warranty along with a quality press to begin with. I'm looking to buy a press and be done with it for life. Any input from you reloaders?
