Just so you know, the past couple years have seen a flood of FN-marked Hi-Powers coming from Israel as police trade-ins, wholesaled by an importer called PW Arms. A lot of them are rough, but clean up well.

I've seen/ handled some of the Israeli ones. Some were kind of rough, but still usable. Some were in OK/good condition. The price seems good from Royal Tiger but I would do some checking before buying.

Or at the very least allow for a trip to a refinisher in your budget. Not to mention thinking about Pachmayr Signature grips and a set of night sights. Pistols can be more difficult than high-maintenance GFs.

Just noticed they changed the picture of the gun today too - yesterday it was a geat shape piece with brown wood grips, today it is your standard surplus import pic - another hmmmmm - lol
