Default Need your help on CCW pistol

I'm looking to buy a new CCW pistol , Taurus PD Polymer Judge or a Glock 19 for a male and female shooter . What do you think would be the better choice for the female shooter ? Female shooter has a Glock 22 ,but its to big for her to carry .

If you can think of anything else ( other models )

    Thanks

I would suggest a Walther PPS for a female...
They offer both a 9mm and a .40cal version... Both are less than an inch thick and very easy to carry.

My Springfield XD9SC on the left and Walther PPS .40 on the right...

    Just the Walther...

I've run 500+ trouble free rounds through the Walther and feel it's a great realiable carry pistol!

Since she already has a G22, and is used to the Glock platform, why not a G23? Same cal, but more concealable & it's the same size as the G19. You could even get a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel for about $100 & have a Glock-and-a-half.

When I really want to keep one concealed, I usually take my G23.

That was the rationale behind my suggestion. I had a G22 and swapped it for a G23. It is actually more comfortable to shoot than the 22. (I've seen others make the same comment.) And it's fairly easy to conceal as long as you're not in something like a pocket-carry situation. Plus you get the incredible selection of holsters and accessories available for the 19/23 platform.

I recently bought a Ruger LC9. It is very concealable and shoots quite nicely with a bit of practice (as with all guns). Very affordable as well.

My wife carries a S&W 640-1 revolver herself. Practices mostly with .38 but she shoots it effectively. A little higher on the price scale.

    What about a Glock 26?

+1 The G23 is one of the best concealed carry guns ever made. Its what I carry as well.

Look at the Kahr line of pistols. Some are a bit expensive but they have created a line recently that are more competitive in the marketplace.

Exactly....she can even use the 22 mags in her 23 and won't have to worry about buying another caliber of ammo.
