    Default My Newest Addition...

    Guys,

I just put some money down on a Glock 27 Gen3 talo Edition, with Trijicon night sights. The photo below is NOT my gun, just a photo of what I bought.

I have a question about Pearce grip extensions. I see that Pearce offers a +0, +1, or +2 extension.

I am not really too concerned with increasing the capacity, as much as extending the baseplate to make room for the pinky finger. However, I hate the look of the +0 extension.. The +1 might be enough, but the +2 would definitely be enough extra room..

Do any of you have any of the pearce grip extensions on your Glock 26, 27, or 33, and does it make a difference?, does it print at all with the grip ext.? etc.. what are you general thoughts regarding having one on and not having one on?

nice addition, thanks for sharing. And with this posting I believe you are required to post a range report.

Nice gun, congrats! Looks sort of like my CW45 (or the Kahr looks like the Glock, so don't be hating on me Glockers!). I've been sniffing around a 17 or 19 gen 3 lately but haven't jumped yet. Tell us what other pistols you have/shoot so we know what to compare your range report to.

Range report will be coming in mid August.. picking her up on July 31st. I seriously went into Ace, just to talk to Chris (Renegadephoenix) and POSSIBLY buy a few items to prepare for a class this weekend, but I had just gotten some extra cash from a Website Client, and the Glock 27 has been on my list for a while.. Damned if it didn't just call my name...

I was looking at the Gen4 27, and just got done saying to Shawn that I would take it, and he says "Well, let me show you this one, and he hands me the Talo edition Gen3. Not only did it have the zero fail finish, it had Trijicon night sights and it was only a few bucks more than the Gen4..

It was a case of love at first sight... I have no fucking willpower apparently...

I had a G27 for a while. I had mags with and without the extension.

It was easier to hold with the extension, but I never really found that the smaller mag made it any more concealable. I mean the gun is like 6" thick - what does it matter if there is another 1/2" of plastic on the bottom of the grip.

    Enjoy your new purchase!

I use the Pierce +0 on all of my carry mags. For my range mags, I have +0's from a few different manufacturers. I prefer those made by Pierce.

I don't notice additional printing, but even if I did, I'm not sure I'd get rid of it. I don't feel comfortable shooting that gun with my pinky tucked under the magazine. I find that having the +0 pinky rest helps contain muzzle flip, which is an issue on a gun of that size.

I figured that was the case.. I mean hell they are only $9.95 for two in a package correct?

Also, do you use the +0 std or the +0 XL which is a 1/4" longer?

$9.95 for one. If you're seeing $9.95/two, tell me where!

I want to say "standard", but I didn't realize there were two different sizes.
