Indoor ranges near The Firing Line
Hello all.
I will come out and ask directly. I have read in here and elsewhere, people mentioning indoor pistol ranges, but I would love some more info. Using The Firing Line as a basis for reference, could you guys let me know where there are other indoor ranges and compare them to The Firing Line. I am interested in a 20-30 minute radius around the Palmerton, Slatington, and Walnutport area.
I have searched the web and am coming up short. Thus far the list I have is as follows:
Lappawinzo, no indoor range despite numerous online listing to the contrary.
Palmerton Rod and Gun, same, no indoor range.
The Firing Line of course. Good range, a little crowded on weekends and $12/hr $229/year
Guthsville Rod & Gun Club, has an indoor and I am waiting on more info.
Ontelaunee?? I read they have an indoor range, can anyone confirm and describe?
Hellertown, Lower Providence, Sunset Hill, Target World, Classic Pistol, French Creek, all over 50 miles away.
I hope someone has some others? Maybe I should just break down and ask for a membership to The Firing Line for Christmas
Thanks for any info!

Uh, You may want to call again and ask about prices for memberships at the firing line.
Also, look into South Philadelphia Archery and Gun (SPAG), its maybe 11 blocks from the firing line near Pat's and Geno's.

Re: Indoor ranges near The Firing Line
Thank you sir Nerd, but I think we are talking of two different ranges. Mine is up north of Allentown. But thank you for the thought.

Re: Indoor ranges near The Firing Line
I joined Guthsville about a year ago but haven't been yet. I belong to Palmerton, but as you said, no indoor. Sunset hill is covered, but no indoor either. Sunset is good, but it's $10/day PLUS $5/hr for a pulley lane, PLUS $1 per target and they don't like it if you bring your own.
I usually go to Sunset, but if I do get the chance to shoot as much as I would like to, I'll probably go to Palmerton or Guthsville more often. With two 4 yr. olds and one on the way, it's difficult to get away sometimes.No Signature Required

Re: Indoor ranges near The Firing Line
Next Spring, (2007) Dunkelberger’s Sports Outfitters will have their new indoor range open on First Street in Stroudsburg. Supposed to be state-of-the-art!
WOW! I did not know about this. Do you know any more info on this range? It is almost within walking distance.

three different types of paper targets for sale
Some gun rentals some ammo for sale
Best bet is to byoa and byog
byoa= bring your own ammo
byog= bring your own gun
Still a great place i do beleive they have 8 indoor lanes with auto target
