Glock 26 no increase in value
I purchased when I was LEO a Glock 26 in 1998 at $415.00, which was an LEO price. I look now and the price is not much higher. Is that true of most Glocks or is it when I purchased it.

Re: Glock 26 no increase in value
If you compare it to the automotive industry or things like household appliances, you will see that it is pretty much on par. The guns that I see that may have gone up at a higher percentage rate than anything else are the Sigs and HK's. Some Tauruses and Rugers, as well as S&W are actually lower when compared to the percentages.

BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Re: Glock 26 no increase in value
Another thing is they are massed produced and many have been sold, so there is not a geat demand for them, used. A new one will not cost you much more than a used one, where as some guns that cost you $200 30yrs ago now will cost you $600 to $1000. The HK USP Elite for example; it is no longer imported, and if they do not reintroduce it in the near future, may cost you up to $2000 to get one when they are around $1000 now, if you can find one.

Basic LEO Glocks go for 435 now and they come with 3 mags. Did you get 3 mags in 1998?

Most guns don't appreciate that much. Especially in 13 years

Glocks increase in value
Other than glitzied-up, special serials, presentation pcs. and matched sets, have ANY "standard" Glocks gotten more collectible in these past 26 years?
I have heard that the early single-pin trigger-groups are selling for a lot more than their original purchase price, just brceause they are considered to be "unique" in some calibers, to some people. Thanks."1"starts the Militia; you are not alone but fight as though you are.

You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a glock or a glock lover. They produce too many to warrant any kind of demand that would increase their price.

In fact, if you account for inflation (thank you, Fraudulent Reserve, for stealing our money!), they have actually gotten cheaper.

Re: Glock 26 no increase in value
Maybe but the Glock 26 is one that I wish I hadn't missed out on. All the reviews from past owners say its a great gun. I have a 19, 23 and 21sf out of all of the other Glocks out there I still would like to have a 26. I'm fighting myself not to add it.
You are in good position its better to have then to not have, its torture. Its value in wants goes up every time I see one.
