Default Data on LTCF issued/PICS requests per county

Is there any way to find out how many LTCFs there are in any given county? Or maybe PICS requests for firearm sales/transfers? I was going to take a little look at the numbers of licensed carriers versus violent crimes, per capita.

I have a feeling its going to pan out exactly as we all think, but without the numbers it's just conjecture.

Any more recent Data? It appears there was a surge in LTCFs this past year or so.

Looks like all the smart people live in the northern tier!

    I need to move north.

But I think the Berks number will rise this year. The Sheriff has really been making an effort to make it more user friendly to get an LTCF and I have spoken with quite a few people in the area that have either gotten it or planned to get it.

I know that in Topton they set up mobile sites where you can apply, get your background check done, get your picture taken, and you can walk out with an LTCF.

Another really interesting stat is the number/percentage of licensed owners/carriers who were arrested for any crime/gun crime. I have seen these stats from Texas. Florida and the Dept of Justice. Legal owners/carriers are ALWAYS represented in crimes/gun crimes at a rate much lower than the general population by a wide margin. One DOJ study showed minors who legally own or possess firearms have a lower crime rate than the general population. (You don't have to go through an FBI check to be a member of the general population) So, we are on the side of the angels while the victim disarmament folks are...?
