Default Needed a firearm Attorney in Wilkes-Barre/Hazelton area

    Man cited after showing weapon

A friend of mine was charged with harassment for displaying a gun while driving on Interstate 80 in Tobyhanna Township on Thursday night, state police at Hazleton said.

Police said a driver ahead of my friends vehicle saw a gun as their vehicles approached a work area, got frightened and let Herring's vehicle pass him after they exited the work area. The man flagged down a trooper, which led to My friends vehicle being stopped at 9:19 p.m., police said.

My friend had a permit to carry a concealed weapon and never pointed the gun at the other driver, police said.

Doesn't matter if he pointed it at anyone. Displaying a firearm in any manner while driving will almost always be considered a threat of lethal force and rightfully so. There is NO - I repeat...

    NO

reason for a firearm, specifically a pistol, to be visible to anyone outside of the vehicle at any time unless the owner of said pistol is in immediate fear of his life. Peri-fucking-od.

He didn't display his pistol but tried to take a picture of the guys license with his cell phone.
The guy could not even describe the pistol because it was never displayed

Okay... then how did ScaredyPants McCallaTrooper know that that particular vehicle had a gun in it? Are they employing the ironic Sarah Brady shotgun approach? I don't mean to pry too much but there's considerable details that are left out. We go from "In a construction area driving" to "cited for flashing a firearm".

What if the gun was lying on the seat or dash, holstered or otherwise? No crime there with a LTCF.
