general question

I am new to your wonderful sight here, and I must say I am enjoying it very much. I do have one question, though. What is this "rep power" thing, and what is the deal with those green dots with your name ??

When people digg what you say, they may give you points.

The green dots are not directly connected to your "Rep". The simply pile up based on the number of posts you make.

Ohhh, so that's how that works. I never read the "Comments" section at the bottom of the User CP section. I just thought that was a random selection of subscribed threads.

So to anyone that posted a comment to me; Thanks for the Comment and I guess that equals a "point". Which, if I am understanding correctly, means Dan will send us one box of ammo for each point we accumulate. Is that correct?

It's even better than that! The number of 'points' you receive is equal to the Rep of the person that left the comment. As of this post, I have a Rep of 3, so if I leave rep for you, you receive 3 points.

Better clear a space for all that ammo that's on the way!
