'Stuck' private message notification

This started last night after JayBell sent me an infraction and it's a tad annoying.

The notifcation (from the drop down) says I have 1 unread private message but I do not. Been through them all and there are none that I have not looked at. Even went back and clicked on Jay's again and that didn't help.

Any ideas? Not a huge thing just annoying as the devil to see that there all the time and know there's nothing there.

And I just noticed it says my last visit was 11:23 last night but I have been on three or four times today.

Have I been Rotz'd?

thats all controlled by a "cookie" setting, so log out, clear your cookies, then log back in, it should be GONE.

also, make sure its not a friend request.

Nope, that didn't work ... and the message in the drop down is 1 unread private message.
