Default I had enough of front sight

    I can't stand "Dr. Pizza"

After seeing the adverts on this site last year I sent for a packet to see what they are all about. After realizing its an extreme ripoff and that these guys have extreme delusions of grandeur...I obviously decided to pass.

Yet, even still, I get phone calls from the Pizza Man, and it says a the end of the call to press a key and he'll stop calling....yet I still get woken up at 8 AM on a Saturday with a recording from this dickhead telling how great his training facility is.

They left a bad taste in my mouth when they used the video of the police officer being shot and killed for advertising. DISGUSTING.

Had a conversation with Dr. Piazza via email several months ago about the core principles used in their training. Lots of outdated and disproven ideas. When challenged, he chooses to claim superiority based on his completion of a Combat Pistol Mastery test and the amount of money he makes teaching classes, presumably to people that never knew better.

Would not recommend Front Sight to anyone. Way better courses here in PA for less cost.

Not to be a nitpicker but wouldn't this be more appropriate in the "Where to (or not to) spend money" forum?
It wouldn't get buried so deep so quickly and people looking for advice about who to deal with or not would be more likely to see it there.

no, because I don't care who spends money with them...I'm starting conversation by implying the question "is this happening to you" - sort of thing....and whatever anyone else wants to throw in, about how much of a tool this guy is.

nope - used a throwaway VOIP number (i.e. Stanaphone) and added it to my Asterisk blacklist. I can still see he REGULARLY calls but I havent heard the infamous "this is Dr Ignatius Piazza" or however that goes in some time now. unfortunately that greeting stays in my head like a bad nightmare

I get e-mails from him about once a week. Every week he's telling me if I sign up for his class this week I'll get a free firearm and $1K worth of training.

He's like a shitty version of Billy Mays...I ain't buying what he's selling. For the cost of his courses you'd think he could turn the avg shooter into Rambo. Somehow I doubt this is the case

As an instructor, Piazza makes me sick. His carnival sideshow style of advertising makes me think less of his training.

And btw, I took one look at his ad and was turned off immediately.

Now the blackwater, I'm sorry XE Shotgun training course seems good to me, but its a vast amount of states and miles away from me.
