Default LIST of ANTI and PRO Open Carry businesses in MONTGOMERY county

I have proposal, how about we list all businesses in Montgomery county that refuse open carry in their establishment. Lets not discuss on this page between OC and CC right or wrong or list businesses that provided substantial service, that’s should be on other thread in order prevent confusion. What I’m talking about is your negative experience with business while OCing. And maybe exceptionally positive experience, for example a bar that let’s you to have a OC party in their establishment. (if you were in the store shopping and they did not kick you out that doesn’t count as “exceptionally positive experience”)

I’m not telling someone to ovoid businesses that against OC. Its their right to refuse and I encourage everybody to be polite and leave the premises without giving black eye to gun community. Its up to you if you will go and put your weapon in the car and comeback to that establishment or take your business elsewhere.

Personally, I avoid businesses that discriminate against gun owners and will be thankful to everyone who can steer me clear from them. Name the business, address if you have it or tell us where its located. Thank you and remember: Strength is in numbers!

P.S. I just started same thread for Delaware county.

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Well, I will start. On June 27 Dicks Sporting Goods at Plymouth Meeting, PA
refused me service because I was OCing. Was told concealed carry is not permitted as well.

I OC'd on Dick's Plymouth Meeting several times as recently as the 4th of July.
OC'd in Target a few times in the past month too.

OC'd in the King Buffet, Plymouth Meeting Mall this past Friday night. Place was packed and I didn't cause a stampede for the door.

nice tool, but how do you add comments or rating for an existing business?

Why don't you make your own sign and tape it to the outside pointing in that says something to the effect of:

I took my business to <insert competitor name> because they value my Constitutional rights and don't want me to be a victim. Criminals don't obey orders such as the one printed on your door.

Because that would be vandalism / littering.

So does that mean LEOs aren't able to carry onto the premise either? I don't see any fine print or clauses for exceptions on the door.

I know it's a stretch for some of you but if I was going to let any establishment slide on not permitting guns on their premises, it would be jewelry stores and banks. It's very easy to make the connection as to why they might not want people with guns on their property. Don't like it, don't shop there. I'm sure they won't miss your business one bit if it means a smoother/calmer running store.

Are you suggesting that a sign can prevent a bank robbery?
