Just got my LTCF renewed in Bucks County. Went to the court house in Doylestown yesterday, $20. and 15 minutes later walked out with my wallet size laminated LTCF. Love Bucks County!!

Need to get mine done within the next few weeks but in Northampton County. Anyone here had theirs renewed lately in Northampton County?

I renewed last Friday. It took 30 minutes from car locked to car unlocked....and I got a meter with enough time still on it. I guess it took that long because two other fellows were ahead of me when I arrived. Our Sheriff likes his office effecient. So do we citizens.

i too have always had pleasant experiences with the renewal process, but i thought it was $40

It was supposed to be $25. He was overcharging.
In May, the Modernization fee (6109(h)(2), that the state applied to the license expired. Now all licenses cost $20.

Is the fee the same if done at the Levittown office?

Yes, $20 in Doylestown or Levittown.

The only difference is Doylestown you can get instantly and Levittown is normally less than a week. Depending on how far you want to drive since you are in Levittown.

I concur with Theo, $20. I was in Doylestown just last month to watch my newest 21 y.o. daughter get her first LTCF. Two down, one to go and the other one, well...let's just say tequila has a badside effect. If your gonna be dumb ya gotta be tough and that particular kid is pretty tough. Though the episode has left her a little less dumb.

Yes, $20 in Doylestown or Levittown.

The only difference is Doylestown you can get instantly and Levittown is normally less than a week. Depending on how far you want to drive since you are in Levittown.

Thanks for the heads up. I got my original from levittown in 2007, I think it took about 4 days. I can pretty much walk to the Levittown office so no Doylestown for me.

At Doylestown you either deal with the ornery sheriff or the nice lady. I got the nice lady last time!
