Well, here's a shocker.
The auction ended with 0 bids."One must be a fox to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten wolves” ~ Machiavelli

I would like to thank that seller for his religious statement at the end. Nothing I like more than to see someone add a religious statement to their insanity or stupidity and make those of us who do believe look like nut jobs. then again maybe the shotgun was blessed by Jesus? And thus the Lord spoke and said, "Behold! This is my boom stick!"

He just got three pages of advertising on PAFOA, higher search returns on Google and people looking at his other auctions.

Beat me too it. Everyone that sees a $1300 Mossy 500 is gonna click on it to see why it's so special.
Basically he's using Gunbroker as advertising. He makes ridiculous listings that people look at, and then he says you have to call for price/availability.
Does Gunbroker take a fee like Ebay does? If so he's avoiding that fee. That may well be against their rules. You used to be able to get away with stuff like this on Ebay back in the day. Not anymore.Selling off a a sizeable Spyderco collection here

Re: $1,359 For a Mossberg 500 ?!?!?!
At first I thought it must be a typo , it would be easy to transpose .380 to .308 but it can't be, the description says it's 150 grain FMJ. Isn't that just a wee bit heavy for .380 ammo??
If I had a business I certainly wouldn't want that kind of advertising. Even if people click to see what's so special they'll see that he's nucking futs and laugh at him while they continue looking for what they want.
I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

I didn't see the description for the ammo. Only the Picture you posted. I did check out the Mossberg on Gun-broker.
At 150 gr., Yes! it's a bit heavy!
I think they top out around 95gr.
Man, I hate to think! IF he/she is that screwed up. I wonder what would your FFL would get in the mail. If you'd place an order.
I've heard of "Some Assembly Required" Never "Some Guessing Required"
