Can we add a basic rundown of the proper procedure to the rules posted here?

Basic things like this get looked over in the prayer, and those new to groupshoots may not be aware the risks of shooting at steel at an angle while others are on the range.

Also would like to add for everyone to be very diligent about the direction of their muzzle. Always, Always, ALWAYS! in a safe direction.

Simple things like this happening, with a crowd standing around the shooter and no one saying a word, will keep people from coming back, myself being one of them. If people don't feel safe, they aren't going to come have fun.

Do you say anything when you see this happen?

I've noticed the range officers talk to people about muzzle direction and sweeping. They can"t see everything and everyone should be a RO. It's up to everyone at a shoot to either talk to the offender or bring it to the the attention of a certified RO when they see something dangerous.

That is what helps the shoots stay safe.

Sadly, it is not being replaced by anything for a while. I needed some cash to cover the surprise baby bills from UPMC. YAY!

I will pick up another 1911 or Glock or something as soon as I can.

After the divorce, I will have a little more spending money, I hope!

I want to make this shoot, I missed all of the others due to work. I hope I can get out and see everyone this summer. The January shoot was my first and I had a great time..............until I was frozen solid

I had an awesome time at the group shoot in April. If anyone is deliberating whether or not to go, definitely do it. Lots of fun.

and after thinking about it, my stage will be a .22 stage, pistol or rifle. if you don't have a .22, i will have a couple with me and the wife has a new .22 that she will let anyone use.

So here are a series of questions for anyone who can answer them . . . If I show up with my MOLLE vest, are people going to looking at me like I'm an idiot? Should I just play it safe and wear normal clothes? Also . . . If I'm open carrying a pistol that I don't intend on firing, should I unload while at the shoot? Can I bring fun things to shoot like jugs filled with water? Nothing messy like watermelons or soda, just water. I'll bring a rubbish bag too to pack everything up in once we're done.
