Change of address...

I moved earlier this year, and my current address on my CCW card is different than my legal address. I renewed my driver's license last year and didn't feel like paying for a new one so I simply ordered a change of address card. I keep it in my wallet with my driver's license as well as my CCW card. Does the change of address form somehow cover my CCW as well, or do I need to go down and get a new card made with my new address?

I believe you should be good until your current LTCF expires.

There is no requirement to get it changed...but it is recommended that you inform the issuing sheriff of your new address so they know where to send the renewal/revocation notice. A phone call will suffice.

What he said. Your LTCF is valid with your original address, no need to get it changed or updated. You should inform the issuing Sheriff about your change of address so your renewal application will be sent to the proper address but it's not mandatory. Even if you inform the issuing Sheriff you need to pay attention to the expiration date so you don't let your license lapse in the event that the renewal application doesn't get to you for whatever reason.

Since I moved from Bucks to Mont county I cannot renew my LTCF in Bucks anyway, correct?

I'm in the same situation. I asked my neighbor who works for mcginn (delco sheriff) she told me not to worry about it, when you renew just give your current address,..

That's exactly right, the reminder is nice but not mandatory. That's why I mentioned that you need to pay attention to your expiration date regardless of whether you notify the Sheriff's office or not. It also doesn't hurt to have record on file that you are actually paying attention to your circumstances. (It may not help, but it can't hurt).

Actually, the renewal application being sent out to a LTCF holder is mandatory according to statute. And it is supposed to be an actual application, not just a reminder

Sending it is mandatory, receiving it can be iffy, that's why I called it a reminder. My oldest daughter has moved so many times in the past 4 years that there's no way all of her mail has caught up to her.
If you notify the Sheriff or not it's up to the individual to remember get it done.
